Elroq — Mk1 (January 2025–present) · MEB · Compact SUV · RWD or AWD (vRS)
5-door compact electric SUV. Drive: rear-motor RWD on SE L, Edition and SportLine; dual-motor AWD on vRS. Battery options commonly listed as 55 / 59–63 / 77–82 kWh net (varies by trim and model year — treat as indicative). WLTP range often quoted around 230–370 miles depending on battery and trim. DC rapid charging up to about 165–175 kW depending on battery; 10–80% often around 28–30 minutes in manufacturer claims. Boot: about 470 L seats up / 1,580 L seats down. UK trims: SE L, Edition, SportLine, vRS.
Trim snapshot: SE L is the entry level (smaller battery option available) with heated front seats, heated steering wheel, sat nav and parking sensors as standard. Edition adds wireless charging, keyless entry, privacy glass and extra driver assistance. - Early cars can show MEB-family infotainment freezes/lag (usually software-fixed) and occasional minor electrical glitches

4. Known issues & things to check

Infotainment freezing or lag
The shared MEB-platform 13-inch screen issue that affected the Enyaq and VW siblings has also been reported on early Elroqs, though generally described as less frequent than on early Enyaqs. Software updates typically resolve it — log the update date and version.
Minor electrical glitches
A small number of owners (including in published long-term test reports) have reported intermittent faults like windows not responding correctly. These usually clear after a software update or dealer reset — keep the invoice and campaign reference.
Rear suspension knock over speed bumps
A handful of reports describe a knocking noise from the rear at low speed on uneven surfaces, generally traced to a loose lower-arm bushing or a dry anti-roll-bar drop link rather than anything structural. Worth listening for on a pre-purchase drive over speed bumps.
12V battery — watch, don’t assume Enyaq-level drain

You’ll see slightly different kWh and range numbers depending on the source and model year. Gross vs usable capacity is reported inconsistently. Prefer VIN / configurator figures over any single published sheet when buying or comparing trims.
