UK service interval

EQB follows Mercedes ASSYST / service scope for EVs. UK cars typically need annual calendar attention with ASSYST mileage prompts — confirm in the instrument cluster.

Intervals are whichever comes first (miles or months) unless noted. They vary by engine, model year, market and service regime. Confirm in the handbook, service booklet or dealer system for your VIN before you book work.

Model years

  • Current UK cars: Annual / ~10,000-mile cycle is the common UK pattern unless the booklet states otherwise. The early-2024 facelift introduced the 250+ with the larger 70.5 kWh battery; the 300 and 350 4MATIC have retained the original 66.5 kWh pack throughout.

FAQ

How often should you service a Mercedes-Benz EQB in the UK?
Most UK cars on this platform use an annual service or ~10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Confirm in the handbook for your VIN and log every visit.
Are the EQB's third-row seats actually usable?
For children, yes — Isofix points are fitted. For adults, only on very short trips; legroom back there is genuinely limited, which is typical for a compact SUV rather than a dedicated seven-seater.
Why does the more powerful 300/350 4MATIC have less range than the 250+?
The 250+ is the only version with the larger 70.5 kWh battery. The dual-motor 300 and 350 4MATIC keep the original, smaller 66.5 kWh pack and use more energy running two motors, so despite being quicker, they return meaningfully less real-world range.
Does the EQB have the same battery recall as the EQA?
Some 2022–mid-2024 build EQBs were affected by the same high-voltage battery software/capacity issue seen on the EQA. If buying used from this period, ask the dealer to confirm what remedy, if any, was applied to that specific VIN — and get it in writing.
