- Most UK cars on this platform use an annual service or ~10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Confirm in the handbook for your VIN and log every visit.
- Why is my EQA's range lower than the advertised figure?
- WLTP figures are a best-case scenario. Real-world range depends heavily on which variant you have: the front-wheel-drive 250+ realistically returns 240–320 miles, while the 4MATIC 300/350 dual-motor versions are closer to 180–250 miles due to the extra motor’s energy draw. Cold weather, motorway speeds, and cabin heating all reduce range further on any variant.
- My EQA won't unlock or start — is the high-voltage battery dead?
- Not necessarily. A flat 12V battery is a more common cause and can leave the car completely unresponsive even with a fully charged high-voltage pack. Check 12V voltage under load before assuming a more serious fault.
- Does the EQA have any recalls I should check for?
- Some 2022–mid-2024 build EQAs were affected by a high-voltage battery software/capacity issue. If buying used from this period, ask the dealer to confirm what remedy, if any, was applied to that specific VIN — and get it in writing.
