- A5 8T / 8F (2007–2016): First A5 generation — Coupé, Sportback, Cabriolet; S5/RS 5. Shared architecture with contemporary A4 while style-led. Do not apply 2024 PPC service framing backwards.
- A5 F5 (2016–2024): Second generation Coupé/Sportback/Cabriolet; MLB longitudinal family; broad TFSI/TDI; quattro; major facelift ~2019/2020. Large used-market range — resolve engine/transmission codes carefully.
